"The ability to generate creative ideas stands as Latvia's paramount competitive advantage. The consistent victories of Latvian communication campaigns in global competitions, where they compete against well-resourced global brands, highlight the originality and effectiveness of our campaigns despite limited budgets," emphasized Olga Kazaka, Co-founder and Partner at Olsen+Partners.
The IPRA GWA, recognizing exceptional communication projects for over three decades, evaluates projects based on criteria such as complexity, creativity, and uniqueness within the context of communities, countries, regions, or the world at large. “This year we had entries covering multiple subjects and there was a notable demonstration of creativity from all around the world,” explains Philip Sheppard, IPRA’s Secretary General.
Esteemed experts from around the world, representing countries including Austria, Bulgaria, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, the USA, and the UK, formed the capable jury that evaluated the competition entries. The awards ceremony will take place in Barcelona this coming October.

The annual IPRA Golden World Awards (GWA) initiative, established in 1990, recognizes excellence in public relations practice worldwide in a variety of categories. Recipients of the award take particular pride in the recognition granted to their entry as meeting international standards of excellence in public relations. The Global Contribution Award recognises a campaign with an objective of meeting one of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The overall IPRA Grand Prix for Excellence is presented to the entry judged as representing the highest standards that year. While there are many national and regional PR awards, there is only one truly global scheme: the GWA.
