From May 29 to 31, for the fourth consecutive year, the Department of Public Relations, School of Business Administration Turība, in cooperation with public relations departments of other Latvia’s universities organised a creative ‘Dynamic Thought Workshop’ for public relations students of Latvia at Kaltene Village. Olga Kazaka, a partner of A.W.Olsen & Partners, was among the experts invited to participate in the jury.
The workshop aims to develop public relations students’ practical skills, facilitate experience and knowledge sharing and build cooperation among the practitioners and entrepreneurs of the field in Latvia and abroad. During the three-day workshop, all participants had a unique opportunity to attend lectures delivered by renowned lecturers, public figures and students themselves on a range of topical communication and field-related subjects.
To test their practical skills, creativity and ingenuity, students were given the task of devising PR campaign plans for various companies under the guidance of the camp sponsors and moderators ranging from communication practitioners to lecturers and university teachers. This year students were also evaluated by Olga Kazaka. The other jury members were Inga Latkovska, Head of the Latvian Association of Public Relations Agencies; Tomass Kotovičs, President of the Latvian Association of Public Relations Professionals; Dr. Phil.
