The Agency A.W.Olsen & Partners/Scholz & Friends Riga has launched cooperation with Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Latvia (MIBL)

From now on, the public relations agency A.W.Olsen & Partners/Scholz & Friends Riga will be responsible for MIBL’s media relations, audience research and public relations management in order to further educate and inform people about the Third Part Liability Insurance for inland motor vehicle owners (MTPLI).

“We are genuinely delighted about this opportunity to work together with such a prominent market player. On our agency’s behalf, we will do our utmost to reinforce MIBL’s and MTPLI’s position in Latvia raising public awareness about the necessity

of MTPLI insurance policy, as well as innovations related to the mandatory third party liability insurance,” emphasised Inese Lukaševska, Project Manager, A.W.Olsen & Partners/Scholz & Friends Riga.

In 2011 the agency will focus not only on providing the traditional public relations services to MIBL, but will also try to enhance its communication and popularity in social media by creating online content and direct communication opportunities with the bureau. This strategy is not coincidental. Despite a considerable media interest in Motor Third Party Liability insurance, unfortunately part of society still are not fully informed

about the concept of MTPLI, its possibilities, the introduction of the accident statement and other related issues.

About MIBL

In Latvia, MTPLI insurance system was introduced on 1 September, 1997, and MIBL was established to ensure the operation of this system. Its functions include defending the interests of the third persons who have suffered in a road accident, facilitate the stability and development of MTPLI system and execute payments from MTPLI Guarantee Fund in compliance with the relevant provisions.
